Les Deux Magots is an historical literary café that exists since 1884. People can enjoy the main room with its two iconic asian statues, two terraces, plus, from march to november, a delightul garden-terrace. As a symbol of the artistic district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, it has always welcomed famous regular clients such as Verlaine, Apollinaire, Picasso, Hemingway, JeanPaul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Jorge Luis Borges, and many more. It also hosts the prestigious Les Deux Magots Literary Prize since 1933.

Our chef is cooking our traditional French cuisine at Les deux Magots since 2005. He is the restaurant’s chef since 2014.

ABOUT OUR CUISINE

Les Deux Magots offers a traditional French cuisine with fresh ingredients, short supply chains, and total traceability. All the meat is of French origin, fruits and vegetables seasonal. The menu changes several times a year : in the spring, gambas with citrus-flavoured risotto, salmon on a bed of spinach, beef fillet with pepper sauce and French fries, duck with honey, spices and potato gratin ; for the winter season, traditional dishes such as beef bourguignon, meat stew with marrowbone and the famous veal « blanquette ». The desserts card offers prestigious suppliers like Pierre Hermé pastries and Berthillon ice creams.
